香港化妆品同业协会创立於1980年，一向以服务化妆品行业，提供会员康乐活动，帮助同业推广业务，收集同业意见向有关部门反映為宗旨。过去卅年，本会得到各大公司企业及会员的积极支持，致令本会能够在多方面有健全发展。近年来，从事美容、美髮、化妆品、批发零售行业的人数迅速增长，本会截至2011年8月為止，计有联会会员8名，企业会员12名，公司会员207名及个人会员4218名。
為落实服务同业的承诺，於年前购置永久会址供举行会议和办理会务之用，并安排两位全职秘书处理日常会员事务。本著过往一贯服务会员的宗旨，希望将服务范围扩展至更普及的层面，决意扩大徵求新会员。
The Cosmetic & Perfumery Association of Hong Kong Ltd. was founded in 1980. Until August 2011, there are 8 Association Members, 12 Corporation Members, 207 Company Members and over 4,000 Personal Members, registered business firms on its rolls and represents the industry on all aspects. The main objectives of the association are:
- To upgrade the image of the industry
- To improve the service standard of the industry
- To present a united voice and opinion for the industry
- To provide recreational activities which stimulate interchange of views and opinions within the industry
